| Info | A very old and large Khorassan carpet, from north east Persia, dating from the mid 19th century or possibly earlier. The carpet is quite heavily worn, but is very pretty and rather grand. The carpet is very large but was once larger, as it has been reduced in length. However, this is difficult to spot and the composition of the carpet works well. And now the carpet has a rare, square 4m x 4m size. |
